What is a LockBolt®
A LockBolt® is a type of fastener used to join two or more components together. It is a mechanical fastening device that consists of a bolt and a collar. The LockBolt installation process involves inserting the bolt, also known as the pin, through the aligned holes of the components / material to be joined and then placing the collar on the protruding end of the pin. The collar is then mechanically swaged by the installation tool, creating a permanent, high-strength connection.
