Alcoa Fastening Systems Ltd(AFS) say they've recieved a positive response to their range of Marson brand V-series tooling launched in March. Aimed at low volume rivet users, the V-series includes three models to install 2.4mm to 6.4mm diameter non-structural rivets in all materials. The three products are CE approved and assured by an AFS 90-day warranty. Competitively priced, the V-Series tools are available to order through AFS distributors, such as Star Fasteners. Dan Starbuck ,MD at Star fasteners, said: "A logical extension to the AFS range, the V-series has found a niche in the market for competitively priced tooling. Historically similar products have had a limited shelf life. However, as a result of the AFS' insistence on quality, the V-series is exceeding expectations. Star fasteners has recieved positive comments from a variety of customers including small vehicle repairers and commercial body builders.
